Harvard Gulch/Rosedale
The 57 acres of Harvard Gulch Park is split into several components. The southwestern knoll with expansive views of the front range is known as the Sugarbowl. The northwestern area known as Rosedale surrounds Rosedale School and incorporates community gardens and a tree park. The area north of Iliff contains unprogrammed open spaces, a football field, running track, parking area and playing fields. The main park area has been the home of Police SWAT facilities, Civil Service offices, a recreation center and outdoor sporting areas, including a 9-hole golf course.
The houses in the area include 20′s-50′s style bungalows, mid-century ranch style homes, and a few scrape and redevelopment homes. Located close to the DU campus, Wash Park and I-25, this is a great south centrally located neighborhood.
